A Downtown Platted Before the Automobile
Noblesville's original 1823 town plat and 1824 county-seat designation predate the automobile by nearly a century, so its oldest homes near the courthouse square were never designed with an attached garage in mind; garages there are often detached, added later, or converted from other outbuildings. Noblesville's newer subdivisions, by contrast, were built with attached two- and three-car garages as the default layout from day one.
Two Different Jobs on Two Ends of Town
We handle very different jobs on the two ends of Noblesville: fitting modern doors and openers into older, sometimes nonstandard detached-garage openings near downtown, versus straightforward replacement and opener upgrades in newer subdivision garages built to consistent modern dimensions.
