A Depot-Era Core Never Built With Garages
Fortville's original 1849 plat and 1865 incorporation predate the automobile entirely, so the town's historic rail-depot core was built without garages as a design assumption — any garage there was added later or built detached. The newer residential growth surrounding that core, by contrast, was built with attached garages as standard from the start.
Retrofit Downtown, Standard Everywhere Else
We handle a genuine mix in Fortville: nonstandard openings and retrofit work in the old depot-town core, straightforward modern replacement everywhere else in town.
